Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Claaso’s platform, services, applications, and website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Claaso.com operating platform, school portals, or administrative dashboards, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service, along with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a school district, educational franchise, or college network, you represent that you hold the legal authority to bind that entity to this agreement.
2. Platform Services
Claaso provides cloud-based education management software and related services for schools, institutions, educators, administrators, students, and parents.
We reserve the active right to modify, upgrade, optimize, or temporarily deprecate features of our cloud system to maintain security indexes, enhance load performance, or comply with legislative student-safety regulations.
3. User Accounts
To configure academic workspaces and manage pupil registries, schools must provision official accounts. Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining the complete security of their dashboard account logins.
- Protecting unique login credentials from unauthorized access.
- Ensuring only verified administrative, academic, or financial personnel access the panels.
Institutions are responsible for managing user roles, permissions, and account access levels within their organization (e.g. allocating billing roles to accountants, grading privileges to teachers).
4. Responsibilities of Users
All active administrators, coordinators, and teachers using the platform agree to:
5. Acceptable Use
Users may not use Claaso in ways that disrupt platform integrity, compromise security, or violate applicable laws. Prohibited activities include:
6. Subscription & Billing
Certain Claaso services require paid subscriptions. Subscription plans, cycle dates, tax breakdowns, and payment terms will be displayed transparently during checkout processes.
- Renewals: Subscriptions auto-renew securely unless paused inside the settings billing tab before active renewal cycles.
- Payment Obligations: Institutions agree to keep active payment options verified to avoid workspace downtime.
- Refund Policies: Standard annual cycles offer 14-day refund gates from payment dates, subject to regional agreements.
- Plan Upgrades/Downgrades: Tier changes apply immediately, calculating remaining cycles proportionally.
7. Data & Privacy
Use of our platform is governed by the official Claaso Privacy Policy, which details data collection parameters, student records privacy rules, cookies usage metrics, and database safety protocols.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform components, designs, illustrations, routing code libraries, dashboard components, trademarks, and branding materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Claaso, protected under global copyright registrations.
Users may not copy, reverse-compile, modify, lease, or license any structural element of the Claaso operating system without written authorization seals from our executive board.
9. Service Availability & Maintenance
Claaso aims to maintain reliable platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service at all times.
To deploy safety hotfixes, platform optimizations, or core backend upgrades, the network may experience brief, pre-announced downtime events, usually configured during low-traffic overnight cycles.
10. Suspension & Termination
Claaso reserves the right to suspend or terminate account platforms that violate acceptable use policies, fail transaction billing cycles, or present active security risks to our multi-tenant database clusters.

13. Changes to These Terms
Claaso may update these Terms periodically. We will alert users regarding significant structural modifications by posting visible announcements dashboard banners. Continuing to run school operations after changes take effect defines acceptance.
